Standard Return Policy
All products can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Each returned item will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returned products must have an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) before returning the product. CarStereoandSubwoofers is not responsible for shipping to and from our facility. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Standard Warranty for Electronics
- Return for refund within: 30 days
- Return for replacement within: 1-year
- Return for repair within: 1-year
CarStereoandSubwoofers warrants merchandise to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1-year from the original invoice shipping date. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at CarStereoandSubwoofers discretion. Merchandise covered under the Standard Warranty Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice shipping date for a refund, or b) within one year of the original invoice shipping date for a replacement of the same item. Warranty replacements may have cosmetic scratches and blemishes. Discontinued products may be replaced with more current equivalent replacement products or store credit will be given if no replacement model is available. The amount of store credit will be equivalent to the current selling price not to exceed the original purchase price. If the same item is not available and a repair cannot be completed, CarStereoandSubwoofers reserves the right to replace the item with a similar or like model or issue store credit at the current selling price not to exceed the original purchase price. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must include the original box and any/all accessories. Incomplete returns will not be accepted. Free accessories or promotional bonus items included with an item as a combo will be charged in full if the primary item is returned for a refund.
Please note that we will refund the return shipping cost only if the return was a result of our own mistake. All other warranty related shipping charges to and from our facility is the responsibility of the customer.
International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties, and shipping charges to and from our facility.
Any item returned for warranty and found to be free from defect will be subject to a $25 testing fee.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU NEED WARRANTY OR SERVICE
Prior to returning defective merchandise to CarStereoandSubwoofers for warranty, the customer must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may request an RMA number by sending an email to sales@carstereoandsubwoofers.com . Use RMA as the subject line and make sure to include your order # and product info being returned in the email. Please provide a detailed description of the reason for the return.
The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package. If no RMA number is included on the outside of the returned package, our receiving department will refuse the package. Non-defective items received will be returned freight collect or must be paid by the customer prior to return shipment. Additionally, non-defective merchandise returned for warranty is subject to a $20 testing fee if no defect is found.
Packages returned to CarStereoandSubwoofers must be prepaid; items sent freight collect, or COD, will be refused.

Failure to follow these steps may void your warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to improper installation.
- Subsequent damage to other components.
- Damage caused by exposure to moisture, excessive heat, chemical cleaners, and/or UV radiation.
- Damage through negligence, misuse, accident or abuse. Repeated returns for the same damage may be considered abuse.
- Burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former).
- Punctured or damaged surrounds.
- Broken speaker terminals.
- Bent, chipped or broken frames.
- Ripped spiders or damaged back plates.
- Any cost or expense related to the removal or reinstallation of product.
- Speakers damaged due to amplifier clipping or distortion.
- Electronics damaged due to amplifier clipping or distortion.
- Items previously repaired or modified by any unauthorized repair facility.
- Return shipping on defective or non-defective items.
- Products with tampered or missing labels or specific manufacturer serial numbers, tags or labels.
- Products returned without a Return Authorization (RMA) number.
- Freight Damage (goods damaged due to shipping must be reported within 7 days of delivery)
- The cost of shipping product to CarStereoandSubwoofers.
- The cost of shipping product from CarStereoandSubwoofers upon completion of repair or replacement.
- Service performed by anyone other than CarStereoandSubwoofers.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING GUIDELINES:
We ship to all countries, except the following ones: Afghanistan, Armenia, Bolivia, Cuba, Georgia, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Yemen.
The shipping fee for your order is based on its weight and destination, as well as the shipping method selected. Please email us for an accurate estimate for your shipping destination.
Taxes or import charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are based on rates provided by your country and the shipping courier. Please contact your local government for more details. |
